GeoTomo LLC, located in Houston, Texas, provides earth modeling and imaging solutions to the oil and gas industry.  We are in search of a Java3D programmer for implementing 3D visualization capabilities for displaying seismic data and solutions. Specifically, we want to develop modules that can display seismic volumes in a dynamic way.  The applicant must have a supreme command of the Java/Java3D knowledge and an uncompromising skill for programming of efficient algorithms.  The applicant must be willing to work in a dynamic development environment.

GeoTomo has an opening at its Houston office for a seismic data analyst with minimum five years of experience in conventional processing of 2-D and 3-D land data. 

The principal assignment involves conducting service projects using GeoTomo’s ThrustLine seismic data analysis system uniquely designed for earth modeling and imaging in areas with irregular topography, complex near-surface, and complex subsurface.

 The assignment is very challenging as it also is professionally very rewarding.  You will be working with a dynamic development team that will promptly respond to your needs as a user of a powerful data analysis system, which will enable you to focus on the geological and geophysical aspects of your project without the burden of managing your data and your project.
