GeoTomo LLC, located in Houston, Texas, provides earth modeling and imaging software solutions to the oil and gas industry worldwide.  GeoTomo has an opening at its Houston office for a Software Support Manager with minimum five years of experience in seismic industry.

The principal assignment involves helping technical marketing efforts, supporting our software users, demonstrating software packages, and training software users.  The software packages include GeoTomo's survey design and modeling package VECON, land seismic data processing ThrustLine and Thrust3D, near-surface solutions TomoPlus, and 3D visualization VISUS.  Therefore, it requires experiences in performing seismic survey design and modeling and land seismic data processing.  Some reasonable amount of domestic and international traveling may be required for the position.

The assignment is very challenging as it also is professionally very rewarding.  You will be working with dynamic development and support teams that will promptly respond to your needs around the clock.

Software Developer ¨C GeoTomo Houston

GeoTomo LLC, located in Houston, Texas, provides earth modeling and imaging software solutions to the oil and gas industry worldwide.  GeoTomo has an opening at its Houston office for Software Developer with strong background in numerical analysis and good understanding about seismic signal processing.

The candidate must have a strong background and practical experience in numerical analysis and computational mathematics for solving large-scale matrix-based problems in seismic data processing.  New developments at GeoTomo may include but not limited to single- and multi-channel algorithms for signal enhancement, and residual statics based on both L1- and L2-norm applied to stack power and traveltime deviations.  These developments will involve both adapting already known methods and implementing new ideas.  The candidate must be extremely proficient with C/C++, Fortran, and Java, and must have a discipline for carefully structured code design, responsibility to debug his/her own code, and a cognizance for meeting deadlines.
