TomoPlus v5.0 release includes the following major features:
- New module to convert vibroseis data to minimum phase to
enhance first break picking
- Release of 2D and 3D Joint Seismic Gravity Inversion
- Option to perform both Acoustic and Elastic Finite
Difference Forward modeling
- Improved scaling and QC tools for Early-Arrival Waveform
Tomography
- New 3D stack module designed to pick velocities and
produce NMO stacks for multiple statics solutions
- Improved handling and performance of large multi-file projects
- Improved overall functionality, usability, and accuracy
of autopickers

2D/3DPICKER:
1) Rubber band picking option in Tracker. Left mouse click
and drag in Tracker mode will remove and place new picks using
Tracker algorithm
2) Increased length of data for projects created directly from
traveltime (.gtt) files
3) Pinned menus for testing First Break Picking parameters
4) Allows multiple overlays of traveltime files
5) Option to plot predefined shot and receiver
attributes above the seismic display
6) Zoom option on the display for easier
navigation
7) Increased the size of the multi-file list so entire filename
can be read
8) Option to build a project in parallel using
multiple nodes
9) File sequence numbers to help identify segments in 3D
multi-file project
10) Allows wildcard substitution in the file

2D/3DTTIME:
1) Building an initial velocity model by picking
refraction turning points from a subset of shots and then
interpolating an initial velocity model is now available in both
2D and 3D. Options include selecting an area with radius or
drawing arbitrary polygons to define a subset of shots.
2) Choosing different subsets of shots to pick refraction
branches to create a delay-time solution is now available for
both 2D and 3D projects. |

1) Module MINPHASE to convert vibroseis data to minimum
phase prior to picking first breaks
2) Minimum phase option to Process BANDPASS
3) Zoom function for the seismic display
4) Increased size of the multi-file list so entire filename
can be read
5) Icon to switch easily between Wiggle Trace and
Interpolated Density display

1) Joint Seismic Gravity Inversion for both 2D and 3D

tomography to help in estimating time shifts without having to

QC before using in 2D waveform tomography
5) In waveform overlaying, can now interactively shift the
synthetic shot gather upward or downward to visualize best
alignment to determine the time shift needed in waveform
inversion
6) Option to scale the input traces to the same RMS
amplitude of corresponding synthetic traces
7) Capability to interactively change number of iterations
and smoothing control during inversion
8) Option to recompute scaling factor after specified
number of iterations
9) Toggle display between absolute and relative
(percentage) misfits

versa, allowing user to import/export their surface of
